Chatter Box

One of the fun things about having a 1 year old, if you can get past the monster temper tantrums and the constant pushing of your buttons, is watching her learn so much! In the past month alone she has constantly amazed me! She has learned to point out a persons nose when asked, she politely says thank you and at the proper times, you can tell her you sure look pretty today and she will say thank you or if you give her a handful of cheerios she will thank you after every cheerio. She is learning to blow kisses, although sometimes she just keeps them for herself, and she loves to hold your hand and walk at the store instead of riding in the cart. But mostly all the words she is learning amazes me daily. So I thought I would make a Websters Abbie Dictionary.

Manana-na-na-na-na - Banana
pa-pa (said in a whisper every time) Papa Burder
daddy wo? - Daddy Work?
Bah (spoken like a true southern girl) - Bye
yayoo - Love you
huh? (usually followed after we tell her no)
Baba - Bottle
een - Ian (I think)

Now follow all those up with a bunch of other sounds and words that we have not figured out yet and this is what she does all day long.
I have a feeling that after spending 10 days with cousin Ian, she will come home knowing a lot more words! Stay tuned!
